What is the advantage of working with TPI? Why should I choose TPI to make my parts?
Our industrial CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication provide parts made directly from the customer’s 3D CAD model, reducing the likelihood of errors. Proprietary software automates toolpath generation to decrease manufacturing times and reduce costs.
What companies does TPI work with?
Due to the proprietary and competitive nature of projects we work on, we do not disclose a listing of our customers. However, we do regularly receive permission to share customer success stories.
Is a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) required to do business with TPI?
An NDA is not necessary to do business with TPI when sending your CAD model to our sales team. For more information, contact an account representative.

How many machines does TPI have?
We currently have more than 30 mills, lathes, press brakes, lasers, punches, and other manufacturing equipment. With our long history of growth, this number is always changing.
Are my parts made in the United States?
Yes. Our manufacturing facility is located in the heart of Texas where we are producing parts daily.
How do I get a quote?
To get a quote for all of our services, fill out our Request Quote form, or simply email us at [email protected]. If there are problem areas in the submitted design, our sales team can provide detailed information on the potential manufacturing issues and suggests possible solutions.
Can I quote my part with all services at once?
Yes. We offer multi-step quotes for CNC machining, CNC punching, CNC routing, laser cutting, powder coating, bending, welding, and assembly services.
What types of files do you accept?
We can accept native SolidWorks (.sldprt) or ProE (.prt) files as well as solid 3D CAD models from other CAD systems output in IGES (.igs), STEP (.stp), Parasolid (.x_t) format.
I don’t have a 3D CAD model. Can TPI create one for me?
Yes. We do offer any services with our on-site Engineers. If you need assistance creating a 3D CAD model of your idea, contact us via email at [email protected], or fill out our contact form and select ‘Inquire about one of our services’ from the drop-down menu and we’ll help you get started.
Does TPI provide First Article of Inspection (FAI) service?
We offer FAIs as requested.
ATM ENCLOSURES & PARTS
Indoor
Which enclosure does TPI recommend for my Indoor ATM: the Indoor Heavy Duty enclosure or the Indoor Slim?
Depending on how much space you have, the Indoor Slim enclosure accommodates narrow spacing as the indoor heavy duty will take up more space.
Which indoor option is more secure: the Indoor Heavy Duty enclosure or the Indoor Slim?
Depending on the location it is being installed, we recommend the Indoor Heavy Duty as it has 2 Puck Locks vs. the Indoor Slim that only comes with one Puck Lock.
What security item is recommended if you do not have a lot of space?
The Indoor Security Belt takes up a smaller amount of space and will still wrap around the machine. Also with small spaces, we recommend Cassette Guards and Lock Brackets. Cassette guards go inside and take up zero space.
Do we have to use the bolt holes on the outside of the Indoor Slim?
There are 6 extra bolt holes on the Indoor Slim that show on the outside that can be used to anchor down, along with the holes on the inside. The outside holes are not required. Customer preference only to use those as it would add extra security.
Outdoor
Why would TPI recommend the weather strips or self-closing doors?
If the enclosure will not be directly under a canopy or awning, we recommend either weather strips or the self-closing door to protect the ATM from weather elements.
What is the difference between Outdoor Lexan enclosure, Outdoor Sloped, and Outdoor Flat?
All three units use the same steel bottom. Only the aluminum top is different only if you prefer the ATM letters in Lexan at the top or don’t need as much ATM signage.
What is the weight of each ATM enclosure?

Which Outdoor ATM enclosure is most popular?
Outdoor Round or the Outdoor Lexan topper. This will also depend on the type of ATM you have to make sure it fits properly.
How are TPI ATM enclosures installed?
TPI enclosures are generally installed in these five simple steps:
- Set the enclosure to mark your drill holes.
- Move the enclosure to drill your holes.
- Slide the enclosure back over the holes.
- Slide the ATM machine into the enclosure.
- Place anchor bolts through the ATM as usual which will also secure the enclosure.
Do TPI enclosures rust?
We prime our enclosures to protect them from the elements.
Does TPI provide custom graphics?
We can purchase decal printing for a custom price OR you can purchase directly from GetBranded and dropship them to our facility for us to install. There will be an additional charge for installation.
Can TPI paint enclosures in other colors besides TPI standard colors?
Yes. All we need is a color spec to match to and we will customize the paint color. Custom paint pricing will be applied.
Why would I need a Bollard cage?
The TPI Bollard Cage offers additional security to protect the enclosure from being broken into and being damaged by vehicles.
Why do you recommend a lighted topper?
The Lighted Topper helps bring more attention and visibility to the ATM at night with bright lighting.
Mobiles
Why are Mobile ATM enclosures recommended?
All of our Mobile ATM enclosure options are fabricated from aluminum. So they are very lightweight and easy to maneuver for outdoor events: concerts, fairs, carnivals, other outdoor events.
Can the Mobile enclosures be bolted down?
Yes. They have holes available to be bolted down if preferred. It is customer preference to utilize them or not, depending on how long their event is lasting.
Can Mobile enclosures be used as permanent enclosures?
TPI recommends outdoor enclosures for permanent security. However, depending on the location some customers feel comfortable leaving a mobile enclosure outdoors. (Especially if it is a 24-hour location.)
Do the mobile enclosures have ATM sign set-up?
Our mobile enclosures do come with a standard flag hole and bracket.
Can TPI add a custom build to their machine?
Yes, if we can obtain a model for the machine needing protection or even better if a machine may be sent to us, we can design protection for the machine as TPI is a full-service sheet metal and machine shop.
AIR/VAC MACHINES & PARTS
What amount of power do I need to run my Air/Vac machine?
TPI recommends a 120V power supply. Due to the heavier load of electrical current, TPI’s Air Machine requires a 20-amp circuit. Our Air-Vac Machines need 30-amp.
What type of compressor does TPI use?
We offer 3 compressor options: Gast 86, Thomas PK40, and GSE.
What timer does TPI recommend for their machines?
The best timer for TPI Air/Vac Machines is the Infitec timer (Infitec ASCR54 Timer, Infitec Vend 2000 Timer)
What credit card reader does TPI recommend for their Air/Vac machines?
The top two credit card readers that TPI recommends are the EPort or the PROTEL.
